A fresh start in Stockholm (Tuesday, 5/9)

01 Sep 2017 14:27

Hej!

After a quiet stretch, there is fresh interest in trying again to start and maintain an active DSC (DiEM25 Spontaneous Collective) here in Stockholm. I hereby propose a meeting on
TUESDAY, SEPT 5, at 6:30 pm, at Cafe Stories (bottom floor of Kulturhuset).

Everyone who is interested should come! We will get started, plan some events, and find some practical (and fun) ways of advancing the DiEM agenda-- a democratic Europe!--in Stockholm and Sweden.

See you then / väl mött!

Hej allihopa!
Last Tuesday, a group of DiEM25 volunteers met here in Stockholm to relaunch the Stockholm branch (DSC) of DiEM25. We got to know one another a bit and exchanged ideas about how to proceed.
We agreed to meet again in two weeks time: Tuesday, 19 September at 6:30 pm, at Cafe Stories (bottom floor of Kulturhuset). Join us! Even if you can't make it, please help us to spread the word: share the facebook event widely in your networks!

The newly (re-)constituted DSC Stockholm met against last night (Sept 19). Thanks everyone for coming! 13 people came out, including many new faces. We got to know one another a bit, discussed plans and possibilities for DiEM25-related actions in Stockholm, and we talked at some length about the question of whether or not it would be a good idea for DiEM25 to become a political party and field candidates in the 2019 EU Parliamentary elections.
A solid meeting and good basis for moving forward. Our next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 3 at 6:30 pm. More information (and a new FB event page) coming soon!
Carpe Diem! Ben

Just as a general information.
The meetings in Stockholm1 DSC do continue.
We had an mingle event in December and are planning for the next one.
Get updated on the FB https://www.facebook.com/diem25Sverige/
Ask questions and join our meetings which usually are announced on the event page.
Just get there. We need more people with a radical, political lust for change.
