Faces of DiEM with Davide Castro and Claire Delstanche | DiEM25

In Faces of DiEM, we speak to DiEM25 members who set out to unite people across the continent around a common vision of what Europe could be. In each episode we will discuss what brought them to our movement and what they have been up to with us so far!

In this episode we are joined by Claire Delstanche, a long-time member of DiEM25 from Belgium. Born during World War II, Claire is an activist who worked as a teacher. In the 1950s participated in marches for nuclear disarmament, the decolonization of Congo and the Vietnam War. Later she took part in protests against the bombing of Yugoslavia and the Iraq War. Never a member of a political party, In 2016, she joined DiEM25 where she continues to be active.
