Greek government must be held accountable for Gaza war crimes role

MeRA25 Greece inform the Greek government and prime minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis about their possible prosecution by the International Criminal Court for assisting in war crimes and crimes against humanity

MeRA25 Greece has notified the Greek government of its criminal responsibility for the moral and material support it provides to Israel in carrying out war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Under the principles of universal jurisdiction enshrined in the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, prime minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and members of the Greek government are not covered by any immunity from prosecution by the ICC for assisting direct perpetrators of war crimes.

MeRA25 stands politically and morally on the side of all residents of Palestine and Israel who are victims of war crimes, regardless of their nationality or identity. At the same time, we are also legally holding the government accountable to international justice and to Greek society, which traditionally stands with the victims of war crimes, ethnic cleansing and all forms of genocide.

Correction: The original article stated that MeRA25 Greece was cooperating with the International Centre of Justice for Palestinians on the matter. However, the ICJP is not involved in this case.
