Free Assange campaign to be promoted at Roger Waters tour

Roger Waters has never shied away from using his music as a platform for his political beliefs. Waters has been putting his personal weight behind the ‘Free Assange’ cause for years already.

Now, he has kindly made his current ‘This is not a drill’ tour – ‘the first farewell tour’ – available for the cause and invited DiEM25 to help promote it.

DiEM25 in the Netherlands is proud to be promoting some of the many campaigns – including our own – advocating for the freedom of Julian Assange at the Roger Waters concerts at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam.

We’ll have small crews present at each concert on April 4, 6 and 7 with materials available for interested concert goers. In our continuous efforts to promote this cause, we’ll also be advertising the screening of the Ithaka documentary in Amsterdam on May 3.

If this is something you are also passionate about, please sign our petition for stopping the extradition of Assange and keep on eye on this space for more news.
