DiEM25 Academy: DiEMers from across Europe are meeting in Belgrade this July

The DiEM25 Academy promises to be a unique learning and connecting experience

From July 11 to 15, we will welcome you in Belgrade – in the heartbeat of change.

Following previous editions in Belgrade, Cologne, Lisbon, and Athens, we return to the Serbian capital for the fifth DiEM25 Academy – an inspiring opportunity for members to connect, collaborate, and expand our collective vision for a democratic Europe.

What to expect

Imagine a series of empowering talks, workshops, and debates that not only inform but inspire. Picture evenings filled with discussions on radical, progressive ideas tackling challenges such as media monopolisation by oligarchs, authoritarian governance, and the EU’s increasing militarisation. The DiEM25 Academy is designed to sharpen our strategies, enhance our organisational skills, and strengthen our movement from the ground up.

With the support of campaign strategists, grassroots activists, and movement partners, this Academy will focus on:

  • Strengthening ties between DiEMers across Europe
  • Providing essential tools for organisers, including local activism strategies, campaigning skills, public speaking, and communications training

Join us in Belgrade for five days of learning, collaboration, and action-oriented dialogue!

If you can’t join us in Belgrade, you can still contribute to the success of this event. Your donation can help make the DiEM25 Academy accessible to more members eager to participate.

We look forward to seeing you in Belgrade—to imagine and shape a better future together.
